Inclusion Of Children With Special Needs

Children with special needs and disabilities are included in our curriculum. The partnership with families is of the utmost importance. The family is the bridge between us and the special service the child might be receiving. We are able to work together with other program staff members and include other specialists in the kindergarten setting. Adapting to an individual child may mean modifying the learning environment to increase the child’s access, potential and availability for learning through the thoughtful organization of materials and space.
We differentiate learning opportunities that foster equity and fairness for the child with special needs.
